Developer Access to Plucker Source Code

Plucker Source Code

The Plucker project has always made the source code available to anyone who wishes to gain access to it. There are several ways to use the source code, or simply to view the latest code to see how development is progressing forward.

If you'd like to simply view the contents of the latest Plucker CVS tree and related branches through your web browser, you can do this quite easily, through an advanced web interface called ViewVC written in Python.

Simply click here to view Plucker through ViewVC

Latest Source Code in Revision Control

You can also download the latest source code if you wish to work with the code locally on your own machine. To do this, you will need to make sure you have CVS properly installed. Once that is done, execute the following command (each command typed on single lines).

Please note that the extra colon after 'anonymous' is intentional, and if used, you will not be prompted for the password (which is blank, if you are prompted, just hit ENTER)

 $ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous:@cvs.plkr.org:2401/cvs/plucker co plucker

Plucker Graphical Source Code Documentation

Plucker's full tree of source code is available online in a graphical view that shows how each file references and links to other files in the project.

We are using a tool called Doxygen to generate the pretty graphs and call trees you see. Doxygen is a documentation system for C++, C, Java, Objective-C, Python, IDL (Corba and Microsoft flavors) and to some extent PHP, C#, and D.
